Reminders & tasks
The event keeps its photos
Plan without the forty-message thread
Create the event, add the details, and seed a checklist. So the plan isn't scattered across chat messages.
Each event carries its attendees, notes and tasks, so a cousin who joins late sees at a glance what's decided.

Made for families in more than one city
Add attendees and mentions so everyone stays on the same plan. Useful when the family spans Sydney, Delhi and Toronto.
Reminders mean the birthday isn't missed because of the time difference.

The gathering becomes part of the archive
When it's over, the photos attach to the event with its date, people and story. A place you can open, not a memory you have to reconstruct.

From idea to plan in a few taps
Pick a template, add the details, and Kunbaa seeds a starter checklist to divide up. Everything stays beside your family wall and memories. Free for every member, with paid plans for the archive.

The reasons a family gathers, planned in one private place
Birthdays, anniversaries, festivals, the reunion someone finally organized. Kunbaa keeps the plan, the people and the aftermath together: a one-sheet composer, reminders, shared tasks, and the photos attached to the event once it's over.
Common family event workflows
- Start a reunion with date options, attendee notes, venue ideas and travel tasks. See the family reunion planning guide.
- Plan birthdays, anniversaries and festivals with shared food, gift and reminder lists.
- Keep a family to-do list with clear ownership.
- Afterwards, the photos and recap posts stay with the event, beside the guest list that says who came.
Why keep events in the family space?
Because five years later "Dadi's 80th" isn't a calendar entry. It's the photos, who came, and what was said, kept beside the family tree, the wall and the archive instead of scrolling away in a chat.
Events, reminders and tasks are free for every family member. See pricing for what the paid plans add.
Frequently asked questions
More questions? Read the full FAQ or the help centre.
How do I create a family event?
One sheet: name it, pick the kind (birthday, dinner, call, trip, anniversary or other), set the date and place, choose who is invited (your household by default, or pick faces or everyone), and Kunbaa seeds a starter task list you can adjust. Festivals, reunions and gatherings work the same way.
Do events send reminders?
Yes. Reminders and notifications keep the family aware of what's coming.
What happens to the event after it's over?
The photos attach to the event, and the event keeps its date, people and story. So 'the 2026 reunion' becomes a place in your family archive, not a dead calendar entry.
Is there a family to-do list?
Yes, shared tasks with clear ownership, living beside the event they belong to.
Do events cost anything?
No. Events, reminders and tasks are free for everyone in the family. The paid plans add keeping: longer videos in the family archive, room for the whole archive, and the photos and videos shared in chat kept while the family is on a paid plan.
