A real family tree, and a private archive for what the family keeps

Group chats are where your family talks. Kunbaa is where your family is kept: everyone's place and birthday on a real tree, and the photos, stories and voice notes kept, so nothing dies with a lost phone. Everyone in the family joins free.

The idea in one line

Write it down while someone still remembers

Google Photos knows a face keeps showing up. It doesn't know she's your mother. Kunbaa writes that down: a real family tree holding who everyone is, how they connect and when their birthdays fall, and beside it a private archive that keeps the photos, stories and voice notes, with the names, the place and roughly when written in the caption.

Keep: where the family is kept

The archive. Everything here goes in with the names and dates written down, so it's still understandable in forty years. Already keep a family tree somewhere else? Bring your family tree as a GEDCOM file.

Talk without leaving your group

Keep the family WhatsApp group; that's where everyone chats. Kunbaa sits behind it, and the things worth keeping end up here. The people in the group can come across too: import the WhatsApp group and everyone in it takes their place on the tree.

Gather: the reasons to open it

Birthdays, festivals, and the invites that bring the family in.

Kunbaa AI

Kunbaa AI: your family's own AI, starting with a recap of what you missed

Kunbaa AI writes each member a short digest of the family updates they missed (new photos, upcoming birthdays, tasks with their name on them), drawn from your own tree, memories and events. It arrives as a notification, it only sees what that member's account can already see, it never posts or edits anything, and the digests come with every plan. Asking Kunbaa AI comes with Kunbaa Plus and Kunbaa Ultra.

What it costs

Everyone in the family talks free

Free is the whole family, live: the tree, the wall and events, plus chat, voice and video calls and Family Safety in the mobile app, with room to build the tree and start the photos. Nobody else in the family ever needs a credit card.

One person can pay for Kunbaa Plus: $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year (17% less, about $8.33 a month for the payer's household), on kunbaa.com or in the app. What that keeps is longer videos in the family archive, room for the whole family's archive, and the photos and videos from the family chat. The free plan keeps those for a year.
